Hey guys,

Wanna be clear, there is no intent of making videos by posting this video but I wanna figure out why this desktop that I builded for personal reason has a higher CPU load the GPU and if its "normal" in this game?

If not, what is causing this issue? I know that 1080p games are more demanding on CPU side the GPU but still, is this "%" usage normal?

My overclock is stable atleast I think. Its at 5.0GHz at 1.32v so runs cool and well, I guess good?! I removed the shutter by disable G-Sync (that was causing shutter for some reason).

Motherboard is a Z390I Gaming EDGE

Thanks in advance, I tested alote games, but this one has this weird % usage compared to other games!

Besides GTA V that has microshutter or FPS drops well knowed be a issue by the GPU but beside that, can´t figure it out if the CPU is behaving NORMAL or not. Or is this a GPU problem? Im no using the latest drivers because of the GTA V Online crash :S Im using the July version!

Thanks for ur replay.

It sounds like very high CPU usage is normal on BF5. https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/164123/battlefield-5-100-cpu-usage-bad-fps-stability/p4 Over here someone with an i9 9900K @ 5GHz was sitting around 70-85% CPU usage (with a RTX 2080Ti)

Make sure you've got any game overlays (Steam, Discord, Windows, etc...) disabled. That might help with stutter issues.

Here's another thread to look at: https://forums.battlefield.com/en-us/discussion/165625/cpu-usage-extremly-high

So this is normal, having this "% usage"? Damn I got so scared that I had any issue in my setup ? because its the only game that the CPU has higher usage in some cases then the GPU.

Other-side, do u believe the frames are in the range of the "normal" performance for this setup? Do u recommend anything else?

Thanks for ur help ?

it's normal behavior for bfv and a few other games, there really is no faster cpu for gaming, it's not an issue that needs to be "fixed" or to be worried about.

So the behavior and performance (Frames) are between the normal range of this setup, right? No reason to worry about?

Single-player I get 130 to 160 Frames!

that's perfectly normal, nothing to worry about, games will start to put those 8 cores to use.
