Streaming PC, Gaming PC, Multiple Monitors, Different Resolution. Windows 10.

Hey Guys,

Kinda of a long one here with some detail. I am trying to stream with one pc and game with another. So far its working. However....

1) Gaming PC, 4K Monitor 2) Streaming PC, 1080P Streaming Card 3) Mixed Resolution causes problems.

Here is what i mean, my gaming pc is 4k, however in order to stream via my video card, (GTX 1070) i have to duplicate my gaming pc desktop and connect to my streaming card via an HDMI cable (streaming card on 2nd pc).

Games then go down to 1080P which looks terrible on my 4k Monitor. The only Game that does not do this is Doom 2016. But all other games only run at 1080P if i have my primary desktop duplicated.

The resolution issue only occurs when duplicating my desktop, if use "PC Screen Only" then no game resolution issues and all games work at 4k.

Sorry if this is confusing, but hoping you might be able to help out. This is Windows 10 1809.

Thanks,

Robert

Elgato Capture Pro internal PCIe card.

Get one of those, and you can have seamless passthrough straight from your GPU into the card, mirrored into your stream, then onto your actual display.

Note: You want the 4K version
