Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

What he said, it would be a sidegrade. Not an upgrade.

 

There is absolutely no point spending that money. Unless you are going to an RTX 2080 or 2080Ti, just stick with your 1080.

Shit if I had the money for a 2080 or 1080ti right now, I’d do it. I only game at 1080p too but don’t have enough cpu to get more frames right now.
