hitting CPU bottleneck? Most cost effective option is usually just buy new, both Ryzen and Intel offer double the core count on their newest platform and unlike FX, they are both good for gaming.

The best CPU for the platform is the i7-6700K or i7-7700K, and I'd be confident going up to a GTX 1080 Ti or RTX 2070 Super on that.

That being said, the most reasonable path (second to doing a rebuild with a new motherboard) is probably a used 6700K/7700K with an RTX 2060 Super or a Radeon RX 5700XT (depending on whether you care for ray-tracing or not.) Used 6700Ks go for around $220 and used 7700Ks go for around $250 though, which I think is kind of unreasonable given what a Ryzen 5 3600X costs. Also consider Ryzen, though I understand if you don't want to go through a whole platform upgrade.

Main Rig: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) KLEVV CRAS XR RGB DDR4-3600 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX | Storage: 500GB Crucial P3 Plus, 4TB Silicon Power UD90 | GPU: PowerColor Red Devil RX 6900 XT | Cooling: ThermalTake Floe 280mm w/ be quiet! Pure Wings 3 | Case: Sliger SM580 (Black) | PSU: Lian Li SP 850W

My main rig is a RYZEN 5 1600x with a gigabyte RTX 2070 SUPUER OC WITH A GIGABYTE AB350 gaming 3 Mobo. I am trying to beef up my Intel rig right now so it will sell but the prices are crazy with Intel. In your opinion is the Intel i7 6700k sufficient for most games. if I use the RTX 2070 super will I get a bottle neck?

The 6700K is definitely sufficient for games and should be able to take full advantage of the RTX 2070 Super. Higher core count chips may perform better assuming single-core performance is equal, but Skylake's still no slouch.

Honestly selling as it is would be a good move

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad
