What different with In Ear Monitor VS Earphone

i tried google but result most show In Ear Monitor(IEM) is Earphone while other explain IEM vs Earbuds.  

is there really different between IEM and Earphone?

Im SORRY for:-1. My Broken English. 2. "if" posting wrong section. 3. "if" my replay hurt someone. 4. "if" posting already posted before

Because im new to active forum >.< (bow) please kindly guide me thanks

Just different terminology to describe the same things.
