Installing drivers for new GPU (Monitor in Power Saver Mode)

Hi everyone,

I'm new to PC building, so please forgive my questions if they're stupid. I have been borrowing my brother's PC for a while now, and it had a Radeon HD 6850 in it. I was just given a 1050 ti by a friend, and was able to uninstall the AMD drivers and then install the Nvidia drivers because the 1050 ti came with a disc for the driver download.

I had a bit of a problem because as soon as I uninstalled the AMD drivers, the monitor immediately went into power saver mode. This wasn't an issue after I realized I had the disc with the driver updates on it that came with my new GPU. So my predicament is that I have to give my brother his computer back next month, and I want to put the 6850 back into it, but I'm going to run into the same "power saver mode" issue when I uninstall the Nvidia drivers. Except this time, the 6850 doesn't have a disc to install the driver updates from.

How do I go about installing the drivers for the 6850 when I put it back in, when I can't see the screen?

I appreciate any advice, and I apologize in advance for my ignorance on this topic. This is the first time I've upgraded anything in a PC. I got the 1050 ti because I'm collecting parts to build my own.
