HELPP! I am halfway through my new build and my mobo doesn't seem to have enough fan headers. there are 3 headers on the board, 1 for the cpu and two additional headers. 1 of the additional is taken up by the small fan on the m.2 NVME heatsink cooler, so i am effectively left with 1, which is taken up by the fan that comes with the case! My problem is this.. the AIO requires two fan headers, one for the pump and one for the fan. Can i run these both through a Y header to the CPU pump or should i run the pump direct to the PSU via 3 pin to molex adaptor?

For reference the motherboard i am using is the Aorus X570 I pro wifi and the cooler is a Kraken M22 AIO.

Pump goes into the CPU fan header.  Use a splitter for the other case fans, into 1 header.

there is only 1 case fan that is plugged into Sys_fan1 on the user manual, are you suggesting i can run the radiator fan off this too via a Y splitter? and then just plug the AIO pump onto the CPU_fan?

Actually I'm more cynical than that.  I find it ridiculous that there are M.2 fans, so that fan header should be used for real things like CPU coolers and case fans instead.

Get a fan hub then if you're going have these issues, much cleaner and less hassle.

so use a spliter/fan hub for Sys_fan2 which will have the case fan + m.2 fan then? then that will leave me with sys_fan1 for the AIO radiator fan, and cpu_fan for the AIO pump?

which would you advise splitting? i have Sys_fan 1, Sys_fan 2, and CPU_fan, and i need to plug in the m.2 NVME fan which by default is connected to Sys-Fan2, 1x Case fan, the AIO radiator fan and the AIO pump.

The AIO Pump can only be plugged into either the CPU fan header or if you have a fan header specifically labeled AIO_Pump. In your case the AIO pump connector needs to go into the CPU Fan Header. Leave the M.2 fan plugged into system fan 2, buy a splitter for system fan 1 and hook your case and radiator fan up to that.
