Corsair LL Fan Lighting problem...

Go to solution Solved by Squanchy,

Contacted Corsair support and got it figured out.

To anyone that finds this post and is having a replicated issue.... The "5th fan" was bad which was causing the 6th fan not to work at all. And causing the lighting chain to wig out...

Thanks!!

Hey all,

So I am having a really weird issue and I am completely dumb founded on what the root cause of this is.

Scenario: I have 6 LL Fans, Those are all hooked up to the Corsair RGB Hub and also connected to my mobo for fan control. From the RGB Hub, they go to Lighting Node Pro then USB onto the motherboard. My issue, ports 5 and 6 of the RGB Hub refuse to work. Legitimately have zero lights at all on these fans. However! If I disconnect and move the fan from port 1 and move it to port 5 or 6, the fan does not light up, but If I put the original fan that would go into port 5 or 6 into port 1... Lights come on, working like intended.

So I originally thought it would be a bad RGB hub, I actually had a extra one laying in a box. So I just replaced it, Lights still do not work. Then I thought the Lighting Node Pro would be bad... Also replaced it... Still doesn't work. I am seriously dumb founded..

Note: I have uninstalled Icue and reinstalled it.

Anyone have any insight? I just want my RGB to work ?

Is there any way that you have the channels reversed? I see you have 4 light strips connected and only 4 fans are working. Just a thought since I did that myself once when installing multiple things once before. Otherwise, sorry that I’m not much more help.
