Corsair h100 power cable issue

I was installing a new motherboard and when I went to reinstall the h100 the two pins from the molex connecter fall out. I know one should go to the yellow port(12v) and other black. But does it really matter which way? It doesn't say positive or negative on the h100 power wires, there just black. So just guessing.

RMA it.

 

Unless you are certified electrician and know exactly how to measure, test and also build what you are looking at. As you are at more risk of either immediately, or over time, damaging your system than anything else if you aint.

 

Or you could simply use a different molex connector and just mark that one down as broke.
