Looking for a monitor with high refresh rate, 1440p, and high contrast ratio

I'm looking for an IPS monitor that is at least 120-144hz, and 1440p with a high contrast ratio. I used to use the Asus PB278q and absolutely LOVED the colors on the thing, but as it was only 60hz, I swapped to an ROG Swift PG279q, and while the refresh rate of 165hz is awesome and the colors aren't bad, they don't look nearly as good or crisp as the PB278q and I really find myself missing the pop of those colors. It actually made the image seem more clear if that makes sense. Seeing as the PG279q has a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and the PB278q is much higher than that (on their website they claim 100,000,000:1), both being 1440p. I was wondering if there's a monitor out there that offers the best of both worlds? Thanks!

1000:1 is pretty much standard for most monitors. Be careful not to mix up the actual contrast ratio spec with the Fake Contrast Ratio spec (often called "dynamic contrast ratio" or other marketing terms), which is just a made up number and should be ignored.

If you want higher contrast ratio then you may want to look into a VA panel, which usually have quite good contrast ratios (3000:1 is pretty typical, some go as high as 5000:1).
