Well I searched around and I know it happens to many brands but why Im having in GTA V core clock on the GPU drops.... causing me a micro shutter/drop in FPS!?

Im using 1080p with G-Sync adaptive, Zotac RTX 2070 Super AMP with a Intel i7 9700K (5.0GHz very stable). Both temps are below 70ºC and there is no bottleneck so...

What can fix this? Is it a GPU problem or drivers? :o

Before u ask, yes I have the settings to max perfomance in energy in Control Panel. And well... hmm :S

Old Game that typically suffers GPU USAGE drops and lowered clockspeeds due to lower than 75-90% demand on GPU.

It's this Game.

Many MSI OSD stats videos for GTAV have severely ruined GPU usages because the game doesn't scale well with more cores.

Needs Frequency and EVEN THEN, only gets you so far.

The game itself (coding/threading) is the bottleneck.

You can increase GPU USAGE and clocks using higher resolutions and details, like typical CPU bound results.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

So, I can fix it by pushing more details in graphics settings?

For example, im playing on Ultra at 1080p BUT I have advanced stuff off and sure I only use 2x MSAA.

I gona lose FPS but I get more stable frames, is that it?

Could it be because I have a OC on the GPU? O lowered the Core Speed from 150MHz to 120MHz and for 15 min I didn´t feel any drops, also my monitor refresh rate wasn´t on 165Hz but on 60Hz lol (just figured it out)...

This is the only game affected, could be more, because Im testing many games but... this one is the only who isn´t working well with 150Mhz on Core (1000MHz on Memory doesn´t seem affecting).

Im very impressed with the performance, compared to some RTX 2080 and even RTX 2080S
