core 2... just forget it, too slow GPU. Also ditch the atom based one because RAM is too little. AMD one sucks least.

The AMD Apu is going to be the least terrible of the 3, but the core2duo based system will likely provide the best overall experience.

Things like GTA Vice City and CS 1.6 will run without issue on it.
I think the best I ever got out of later core2duo laptops with integrated graphics was PS2 emulation and titles like GTA IV at near minimum settings.

Ic,

The atom one is useless, don't try anything besides GBA emulator on it, even that it might be low fps.

THe AMD-E300, I think I had a tablet with AMD E-150 in it, it was p nice at the time, now it is absolutely shit, it probably have lower cpu performance than the atom.

That core 2 duo's graphic is probably way too weak to support any game, especially it probably only support up to Directx 9...

My suggestion is to sell them cheap af, and then buy a cheap af tower machine, it will be a lot better.

no idea, you need to check local second hand market, and price it accordingly. Just remember, the price u see is the price that are not sold yet. if you want to sell it probably price is lower than what u can find online, and make sure u got good photos and good descriptions.

it would be barely playable but that game is so old it would be possible, although google how to "potato mode" that game because you can make the settings lower than low with the console when needed.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

You probably mean Good Old Games ... it's a website that sells old and new games without DRM.  Link is gog.com

Anyway to answer original questions

The Atom is out of the picture from the start. The 2GB of memory will kill your gaming experience and the CPU is just a bit faster than the AMD one.

The Core2 duo is about twice as fast as the AMD one, but the video card on the AMD system will make it more compatible with newer games, so if you games which are not cpu intensive, the AMD system will give you a better experience.

It would probably also help if you replace the hdd with a 64-128 GB SSD.

Doesn't really matter for testing. Id just try out a free game that will run on all of them.

If it was me id test with something like tf2.

Yes, you can probably play it.

The game uses an engine similar to the one used by Half-Life 2 and Half-Life Source, and this game engine is not graphical heavy, but uses cpu to make a lot of calculations. Also, because it's a multiplayer game, there's more CPU used than a comparable single player game like Half-Life 2

If the video card on the Lenovo laptop meets the minimum requirements to work, that Lenovo may actually give you higher fps but the image quality would be worse compared to the AMD laptop.

L4D2 is made by Valve, which own Steam, so it's normal they have no interest in selling it on GOG. It's cheap and it's often on sale.  You can get the bundle : https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/233/Left_4_Dead_Bundle/

TF2 is Team Fortress 2 ...search for it on Steam.

And if you didn't play Half-Life and Half-Life 2 ... they're really worth it. Right now they're kinda expensive, they're often on sale for 2-3$ each

You can get the bundle Half-Life Complete for 20 euros (here) which has everything: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/231/HalfLife_Complete/

(hl1,2,episodes, hl blueshift and opposing force (a few hours of gameplay each in hl1 universe, kind of like a DLC but good both of them)

They're all not good.

What's your budget/country for something slightly more modern?

You can grab a used business machine with an i7 and toss in an RX 470-580 and be pretty set for gaming.

Or just get a new PC with a Ryzen APU.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Check your local used market for any desktop with an A8 or A10 APU that's really cheap, just needs dual channel memory. Like an A8 7650K, or even an AM1 based PC

or something that has at least an i5 2500K and like an HD 7850 or GTX 960 or better

es and i taught the atom will be the worst option  but seems to be not bad for an atom tomb raider run in low at 30

Well, of course it works well, if it's rendering at the equivalent of 320x200  - don't you see how blocky everything is? That's not how the game is supposed to play.

This is how it's supposed to look

If it's a quad core model it's probably not the worst thing ever.

You can play older games on it just fine like warcraft 3

otherwise you're going to want something with a more substantial GPU.
