Get the 5700XT if you want to play games since 580's in Crossfire far more often than not actually worsens performance.

Tbh unless you can afford to run a large scale mining machine in somewhere with cheap electricity (so not Europe), they are never going to make any usable profit.

can you afford a dozen cards then? Otherwise it still wont pay for itself 

single RX 580 in ethereum mining

single RX 580 in monero mining

 

So even if you keep it running for a whole year, RX 580s still don't pay for themselves with their gain of a fast food meal for a week per card. Things get even worse with RX 5700 XT since RDNA isn't as strong as Polaris or Vega in mining.

with a single gpu, you could get away with cheaper mobo & smaller psu watts,

also make sure your room has good vents if you go for dual gpu

Does the person who you're leeching of know what you are planning or are you just being selfish without any consideration for the people who actually have to pay the bills?
