It won't work, Intel locked out E3 Xeons to C-series chipsets only starting with Z170.

Hi! I already have a Asus Gene viii motherboard, I found a really cheap Intel Xeon Quad Core E3-1245v6 and saw that it's an LGA 1151 cpu.

Is it going to work on my motherboard even though its not on the list of supported cpu's?
