Tried to restore windows, ended up destroying a laptop

So, I have a next book that I was formatting for my gf, it got stuck on 3% then said it failed, I thought ok, it will just restore everything it tried to get rid of right? Wrong... it booted back up to a system recovery, which also failed, I tried fully erasing the thing, failed at 66% this time, it apparently can’t boot from, network, DVD, USB, ect, only from system recovery, (says it’s not available to boot from) so I tried recovery, same thing, looked in its so called bios and it only has system recovery and boot manager, so I can’t reinstall windows, tried a few command prompt things, nothing, need help badly

In the windows recovery, do you get the option to use a installation medium to restore your device? Usually you can plug in a windows install usb stick, it takes whatever files it needs from that and restores all the damage you've done.

Can’t use usb, USB booting is not available in bios

There is an option in the windows recovery to use a USB device. If you can't get into the windows recovery and everything else fails too, there is not hope and you have to contact customer service.

I tried that, and as in the picture, it says can't boot to usb

Have you tried disabling secure boot, and then trying the USB boot again.

Not yet, haven't really found anything about secure boot in bios

I can, but it just goes into another recovery loop

Well, if switching off secure boot dose nothing and you still can't boot from USB; I got no other ideas after that.

Yeah nah, nothing, thanks for the help tho, we might be getting a new one later on, I feel really bad because I was gonna give it to my gf lol, ah well, can’t fix what can’t be fixed I guess haha
