Is there any difference between i9 9900k and the F variant?

Hello,

I know that the F variant doesn’t have an integrated graphics chip but is it any different from K apart from that? What is your experience with the Silicon Lottery company? I’m planning to order it from them. Thanks for answers^^

It's pretty much identical, it doesn't really OC any better than a 9900K would considering the old "silicon lottery" margins.

 

If you just want a gaming CPU for instance and won't ever use QuickSync or the other uses of the iGPU there's nothing wrong in picking the KF variant for that discount.

It's not a DRP4, it's the vanilla Dark Rock 4, it does fine I get max temps on the 78Cº~ to sustain the 5ghz all cores clock, not ideal but as long as it doesn't throttle I'm fine with it.
