USB flash drive is no longer recognized by my computer

I have a USB flash drive 256GB which is no longer recognized by my computer. Windows Disk Management and DiskPart report No Media with no storage space (0 bytes) on the drive and I cannot partition or format the drive.

It's a goner. Throw it in the trash and buy a new one.

If it is a samsung one, you can just ask them for a new one, and you'll get it for free, if you send the old one back to them.

How important? If it is truly important take it to data recovery experts, but even them might not be able to receive the info, depending on how dead the drive is.

It's pretty much already outlined. It's corrupted, maybe even broken. You can try recovery with PHOTO-REC, but speaking from experience, it doesn't save everything. Alternatively you can send it to a professional data recovery company.
