So I thought it would be a good idea to try to build my own pc, I went from an i5 6600k and a gtx 960 to a Ryzen 7 3700x and a gtx 1660 and it won’t show any signs of life

full specs

ryzen 3700x

gtx 1660

evga supernova g3 750 w

msi x 570 a pro motherboard

32gb 3000mz Corsair vengeance

corsair h100 cpu cooler

I was wondering if anyone had ideas on where I could start to trouble shoot why it’s just not powering on at all, I’ve boiled it down to either cpu, motherboard or psu. I used the ram n gpu in my old build while I waited for the cpu ect that arrived today, any help would be greatly appreciated

Yeah I’ve checked everything, I’m starting to think it’s a dead psu, I have my old one but idk if it would be a good idea to plug a 400w power supply into this system? Obv not as a permanent think just too see if I get any signs of life

also so thanks for getting back to me :)

I think you should be fine for testing purposes, you're not running any sort of load on it. Wouldn't want to use it for more than a couple minutes though.
