I’ll try to keep this short. Whenever I have 2+ chrome windows open my computer ends up getting a blue screen of death (idk if that’s what it’s called, see attachment 1). The difference between this one and others I’ve seen is that the percentage stays at 0. I let it sit for over an hour and it stayed at 0%. Once I restart the computer (restart button on pc) it tries to boot back up but it simply can’t (attachment 2). When this happens I fully turn it off (hold down power button which ends restart loop) and let the computer rest for a couple of hours.

I’m not sure what could be going on here so I would really appreciate some help, thanks.

(Obviously I’m writing this on my phone so sorry for the formatting)

No overclocking, and I'm not sure what XMP is so I'll go ahead and say no

XMP would be a bios setting for your RAM.  The issue seems to be memory related,  could try just switching the ram around and re-seat it. (or try different memory slots)

Chrome is a big memory hog, if that is seems to be the trigger for the BSOD, try starting other programs to fill up the ram and see if it will crash.

does your motherboard have any diagnostics LED's?

I'll try messing with the RAM, the issue occurs when playing games too and I know chrome takes up a lot of it so that would make sense. For a split second I saw a blue light from my motherboard but it only happened once out of the 10 times this screen has came up. I looked into it and all I found was an explanation about an unsupported power supply but that's hard to believe since I've had this build for years.

Stop code Memory Management. Probably RAM issue.

Components age and fail, it's not becasue it's worked for years that it'll work for ever. Had to replace a PSU a couple of years ago becasue of random crashes (hint to the source of the problem was motherboard warning of unstable supply at boot).

But the RAM seems a more likely culprit at this point, try removing a stick if you have multiple, and swap the one you remove if you still have the issue until you hopefully find the culprit, if it never stops then look further.
