Which RTX GPU will give me 60FPS@1080p when using Ray-Tracing in AAA titles?

This Black Friday I plan on upgrading the GPU in my 8700(non-K) system.  My monitor is a 27" IPS 1080p@144Hz monitor.  What I would like is to come as close to 144 FPS as I can in non-RT AAA games and keep Ray-Traced AAA games north of 60 FPS.  I don't have the money for a 2080 Ti nor do I think a 2060 or 2060S can do it.  That leaves the 2070, 2070S, 2080, and 2080S.  I am most leaning towards the 2070S as the best bang for the buck, but might catch a 2080 on a good sale.  A 2080S is probably out of my price range.

Thoughts?

Well there is the rumor that RTX is partially dead at least because DLSS is unofficially dead.

Who knows which other things of RTX will become basically dead as well.

I would just go for the 2070S if that's what you have your eye on right now.

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

Well as long as you aren't planning on playing Control, you should get that 60fps with a 2070 Super I'd imagine.

Take Metro Exodus as an example:

You can almost nearly reach 60fps with the 2080 at RT Ultra 1080p, but you can get 60 with RT on high instead of ultra, and the 2070 Super will have very similar performance since it's a cut down 2080. Metro is also probably the second toughest ray tracing title after Control.

So I'd go with the 2070 Super. But try to get the 2080 if possible. You're gonna need every little bit you can get cause you won't be getting 60fps in a few years time, that's for sure.
