Should you close your laptop when it's hot?

Hello. After a gaming session, my laptop is hot, of course. But if I close it down immediately, the fans stop, and no active cooling is effective anymore.

So I was wondering: should you leave your laptop for a while to let the fans cool it down a bit or does it not matter?

it makes no difference if you turn off your laptop after a sesh. it will cool passively quickly enough

You can manually set your fan speed. 

Follow my guide. Leave the fan at maximum to cool your laptop faster. You don't need to turn it off.
