So I decided to finally upgrade my LG G6 to the LG G7 (I always like to be a generation behind).

I got a very good deal (perhaps too good of a deal) on ebay over the weekend with the 10% discount code.

While it came with the original charger and headphones it didn't come with the original USB cable.

I've tried 7 different Type C cables and not one of them will allow me to connect to transfer data to my PC, but they work perfectly fine to charge

All of the cables work with my G6, so I know the cables work.

The common thing between all the cables I have is that they're all USB 2.0.

Does the G7 have compatibility issues with cheaper USB cables or is it likely an issue with the device?
