any b450, x470 board will work with the 3400g, but will need a bios update. quite a few of those boards now you can buy with the new bios included, just make sure to check and see if it comes with it. updating the bios manually is a pain because you need an older ryzen cpu and other working computer to do it. if you want to, there are tutorials online on how to do it. any x570 board will work just fine out of the box, but that does seem a little overkill for a 3400g. if you are willing to pay that price though, it does make a very future proof computer that would handle most powerful ryzen proccessors if you wanted to upgrade it in the future.

Hi

That board will need a bios update. You would either need a 1xxx or 2xxx cpu or a boot kit from AMD. Another option is to ask the pc store if they can update it for you.

Have you already bought the board ?

Yes I purchased the board and ryzen 5 3400g off amazon

You will need to contact the seller whether on Amazon, Newegg, or wherever you are ordering the board from and ask before you buy. If you have already bought it look on the front of the box it will have a decal saying Ryzen 3000 compatible if it has the update, Most B450 boards are being shipped out with the update but it's mainly boards that have been restocked recently that have left the factory with the update some still are shipping out without them, If it doesn't have the update you need to have a 2nd or 1st Gen Ryzen CPU to do the update. Here's a video on Paul's Hardware where he shows how to do it for most major manufacturers.
