Valves solution to lootbox gambling regulation CSGO

Just though it would be interesting to post about valves workaround for countries that are regulating against lootboxes that they are implementing in France.

Here is the reddit thread about the update

Basically the game will let you reveal using the new X-ray Scanner what item you will get from a particular lootbox. Only after it has been X-rayed can you open any loot box. The game will not allow you to X-ray another loot box until the previous x-rayed box has been opened. Which you will need to use one of the in game keys that costs money.
