Tvs versus Projectors in 2019 (almost the end of year)

Hello peeps.
 

A question kept coming back in my head for quite a while now. We've seen review for projectors out in the wild but more recently for the new gaming center, coupled with TV and a lot of big screen whom doesn't qualify as TV (as for having a tuner inside, jsut like the ROG review recently done.)

 

What is the point of getting current video projector versus the new technologies added into those screens making way more appealing in terms of quality image ? I'm personnaly a fan of video projector since i kind of like to live in the dark and no reflection even during the day.

 

I really look forward to what you guys will think about that.

the only reason to ever get a projector is the same reason it has been for the last 30 years. If you need to pack a lot of people around a single image , then use a projector. If not , get a tv

Is that really the only reason it would be "worth it" ?
I've always enjoyed projectors more than a TV. I don't really get it why it would be only good for many people then, the angle view isn't that much a big problem.
