So a couple  days ago I bought  a 13" plastic  mac book from late 2007 at a flea market second hand everything  was working  great and I decided  to try and factory  reset it so I could  essentially have a new mac but I ended up deleting  the os and now I'm left in the recovery hd not able to download the os it had because  I don't know what the original  apple Id is for the os installation so it just errors out, I did try to make both a usb and dvd bootable  os to install  it but it just takes me back to the utility  ived tried all I can and I don't know what to do so yeah  I'm here asking  for help ,also internet  recovery  doesn't  work  on my old mac rip

Sidenote: I do know that in the recovery  there still is a back up os I just don't know how to use it to install  it its call mac os base system. Dmg and all the installation files are there I'm fresh out of mac's atm so yee pretty  screwed , if there's some info I don't know feel free to let me know

So, it's not letting you do a fresh install of the OS from recovery mode, if I read your brick of text correctly?

 

Well, you're best option, if tat's the case, is to go to an Apple Store, and they should be able to help you...is that an option for you?

 

The next option is if you have a rl friend with a mac who can assist...I'm guessing that's a no since you're asking here.
