I play cities:skylines and TF2, along with PUBG as well.

When I first encountered this issue in TF2 just about 3 days ago, I thought that rebooting my computer would fix the issue, but it didn't. And the problem spread to Cities:Skylines as well.

So what happens is my computer would randomly 'stutter', for like one second, just briefly. In TF2 the screen would halt and whatever sound that was coming out would be cut and repeated, like "The Contr-tr-tr-trol Point is being captured"

And in cities:skylines, the screen would just freeze up for a second, I'm not sure about how the sound behaves in that one.

I don't get this issue(or at least seems to not) when I'm just doing light tasks on the desktop, only when gaming. I think this is a computer issue than the individual game, since the symptoms are identical.

The only thing I did 3 days ago was to install Destiny 2 in Steam, I wonder if that could be the cause? I did nothing else I could think of except that.

What might I have to look into?

-i7-6700k@stock

-RTX 2060

-Asrock Z170m-itx/ac

-24GB Samsung DDR4@3200MHz

-Windows 10 Pro Build 18362(1903)

UPDATE: Turns out the destiny 2 that I installed on steam, steam was checking to see if it was the release date for the game( the game was available for download before it was launched) and that caused the stutters.
