G4560+RX 570 ITX with 400W PSU

Hi Guys, just want to confirm, will a 400W PSU enough for a G4560 and RX 570 4GB (Sapphire Pulse Mini)? Thanks before!

depends on what 400w unit you're talking about.

as far as i know the rx 570 needs an 8 pin to work. some 400W power supplies dont have this. if yours does then there should be no problem otherwise it wont work. make sure its 8 or 6+2 and not just 6.

Also, if you haven't purchased the G4560, I wouldn't.

Thanks for the reply, the PSU is Seasonic 400W fanless, and this is because I'm upgrading old office PC (A8-5500), and I got the G4560+Gigabyte 110M really cheap from a friend (about 8$). So I thought why not make the office PC capable of playing Witcher III

Don't expect great performance out of the old CPU, but since you got it for the price of a Whopper, I would say absolutely go for it.

 

The PSU is either an X series or a Platinum series, both those are great and have the 8 pin PCIe connector so you can run the system off it.

 

That system should be pulling around 220W under stress.
