As the title says, is the GTX 1660 good for video editing? 
I am getting constant GPU resource errors (GPU Memory Full) while I'm attempting to edit video with davinci resolve 16.

I have been using Hitfilm express in the past without issues but it has it's limitations.

I'm wondering if the GTX1660 OC will be better than the GPU I have since I can get a steal of a deal on a new one from a friend.

 

The PC I'm using is a Dell Optiplex 990

Specs are: 
I7-2600
16gb DDR3 2666

GPU: Nvidia Quadro K2200

HDD: WD Black 2tb
