Taran-proof macro keyboard setup for editing on mac

Hi everyone, long time youtube subscriber here, first post on the forum. I loved the Taran's quest for the perfect macro keyboard setup. That video series inspired me to build me a DIY Macro Keyboard for Final Cut Pro X.

With this setup:

You can have multiple keyboards.
You can set it up even without any programming knowledge,
but if you know how to code you can add your scripts.
You can set keyboard profiles as application specific and/or USB port specific
You can also include MIDI controls.
You don't need specialised hardware.

I tackled this diy project with zero budget (I'm a student and I'm also cheap). How much did it cost? ~~Everything~~, just 2 bucks (excluding keyboard).
I used freely available software, including CommandPost, an amazing open source project without which this setup would not be possible. For the MIDI controls I used a 5€ android app, but I paid for it with the money earned from Google Opinion Rewards (told you I'm cheap!).

Other than the instructions, in the repository you can find the custom keycaps I designed for this project. They're heavily inspired by the Taran ones, just a little bit more aesthetically pleasing and more readable imho. I designed only the ones representing functions I was gonna use in my workflow, you can use and modify them as you please! If you're going to adopt this macro keyboard setup I hope you'll add the keycaps that you'll (maybe) create to match your needs to this project. I paid 2€ to print em on a sheet of adhesive polyester (it doesn't fear greasy hands , as opposed to plain old paper).
