What is the best cpu for stock cooler

Yeah..I wouldn't if I were you. 9700+ stock cooler is a DISASTER. Why they even paired the stock cooler with that thing baffles me.

And even though you have the intel stock cooler, you shouldn't base your purchase on it.

If you're happy with the 9700, you'll be happy with the Ryzen 5 3600. It performs nearly the same in all workloads, it comes with a free cooler that is better than that mess of a cooler, and most of all..it's significantly cheaper.

Lower end i5, i3s, Celerons, Pentiums, pretty much every Ryzen. Overall anything that isn't expected to get hot under normal loads. Which i7s and higher end i5s really aren't.

But seriously. Pick per CPU, not per cooler. You can get pretty good coolers for sub-$€£50.

Pick the cpu first, then get a better cooler, because intel stock coolers are crap for high end chips.

For the love of god, dont ever use intel stock coolers. They are noisy and have abysmal thermal performance.Unless you dont mind noise, then i would use it in a well ventilated case if you really dont have money for a cooler.

Have you ever used a stock cooler with a modern celeron, pentium, or i3? In those cases, they can be fairly quiet.
