Asus AC55BT vs TP-Link Archer T4e

Go to solution Solved by Tristerin,

I have the ASUS AC55BT, I paid $20 shipped less than a year ago on sale.  Its plug and play with Windows 10 drivers and works for what it is!  Just giving you my user experience.

I like the wired antenna because I hide my HTPC and I can have the antenna exposed for maximum reception.

Both have similar specifications with the TP link having a antenna attached to the bodh and the Asus has a antenna that can be relocated also the tp link has a heatsink on the module itself and is cheaper.

So which one should I buy?

Asus is 30$ and TP-Link is 22$

How is the response as compared to a wired connection? Will it be much much slower?

I have it as redundant.  It sees very little use as I have ran my own hard lined home network.  I always prefer wired.
