Need help to determine if a gpu is bad or there is something else wrong.

I have a 670 gpu and a 1080. When I plug my 1080 in with the 1080 drivers everything works as intended. But when I plug the 670 without messing with any of the drivers still 1080 drivers, either the turning cirle under the asus mobo logo stops and ther whole thing freezes or it boots up but looking like there are no drivers, which is to be expected, and then after like 10 seconds the screen goes black before i can even acess everything because the pc is booting loading discord, etc. What can I try? If anyone knows how to fix the issue and wants to really help, pm me to answer everything else that you might want to ask and get more in depth.

Thanks!

what happens when you boot into safe mode?

also what is the reason for a 670 and a 1080?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

when changing the graphics cards, use DDU (display driver uninstaller) to avoid driver conflicts. The 670 is so old, it's not surprising it creates some issues.

Uninstall the driver of the GTX 1080 before installing the GTX 670.
When the GTX 670 is installed, you can go ahead and download the drivers for it.

The nvidia installer said that it completely deleted prevoius drivers but i will give that a try.
