Good morning everybody!

The past few months I've had the idea to use my racing simulator (Speedseat, Logitech G920, and a 144hz 1080p monitor, F1 2018) a bit more. Right now if I want to use my simulator I have to move it right next to my Gaming pc and attach the relatively short cables (since displayport can't be that long if I'm right).

I find this process a bit annoying and it takes a bit of the fun of using it away. So basically what I want is to leave the simulator in the corner of the room and use the monitor and G920 from there. This means I need cables which are about 8 metres long. Again, If I'm right this can't be done while still using 144hz and I'm not sure about the G920 using USB.

I thought about buying a dedicated PC for my sim and use short cables and enjoy racing. However this will cost about 400 euro for a decent secondhand PC and I don't want to maintain 2 gaming pc's at the same time. I don't mind spending a few euros on licences for software or on special cables that can cover this distance.

Does anyone have an idea on how to use this racing setup like I specified here? I don't mind getting creative or spending a few euros :)

Thanks!

Perhaps just by buying a long HDMI cable? They aren't that expensive and I'm fairly sure that they go up to at least 20 meters. :)
