Small White Marks Under Laptop Screen

Hello, I was hoping you guys would be able to help me.

 

Long story short I've recently started my first week at university and have been taking my laptop in (in a case inside my bag) for the first three days.Today I was in a bit of a rush after class and instead of shutting the laptop down I just closed it before putting it in the case and my bag.

 

I got in and noticed that there are a collection of white marks under my screen almost all are circular in shape, one of them also almost looks like it forms a word(?) but it's an LCD panel so wasn't sure something like burn in was possible.

 

I'm was hoping that it was just stuck pixels but it exclusively only appears on darker screens , and almost looks like a smudge under the screen. Ive ran the stuck pixel test and they only showed up when the screen was black.

 

Hoping this is fixable without having to buy a new screen! Attatched a picture to try and get the point across a bit better. Thank you!

Attacked it with a bag of ice hoping for the best but if looks like they aren't going nowhere.

 

I do everything I can to look after it because it cost a fair bit of money and it just over a year old, very frustrating.
