So i built my pc around end of June and it was working good, played good but and so on. But one day it decided to become slow.... (was a month ago). And the problem is it's showing roughly the same amount of Frames but it's really laggy, getting frame spikes and stutters. I tried everything that i know driver reset even reinstalled windows 10, even messed with the conf  did't help. Monitored the temp all was good was't overheating. I thought the problem was with the GPU because it's a fairly old one geforce GTX 980 ti (ASUS Strix) so tried the GPU on a different pc, with my old pc it was working fine. Later i went on to the ram i switched places problem was fixed (tried with one stick did't help ) but not fully i was still experiencing some lag and stutter but not often as before so i left it at that. And some time later it's back to where i started. annoying to play games on my pc now so i have not played much as before. My specs down below

intel i7 8700k

Asus strix geforce gtx 980ti

500g m.2 (boot drive) 2 other ssd with same storage

VENGEANCE RGB PRO 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz

Cooler Master ML240R RGB

MB: msi gaming m5  z370.

Moniter: Asus rog pg279q 1440 140 ghz

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE (づ。◕‿‿◕。)づ

Hi @Chinchin8008

What build version of W10 do you have? You can find it by pressing Winkey + R and type " Winver". 1 specific version is known for having studdering issues.

Hello  @Jarno.

it says 1903

Do you have page file enabled on your other two storage devices? I assume you install your games on those other drives. I read that games will run funky with no page file, even if the physical amount of RAM is more than enough.

@Plutosaurus i tried changing the game location by reinstalling it on different disk didn't help. or do you mean my win 10

Unplug your primary drive and try installing everything to a known good drive and see if it still persists
