Having a hard time choosing a monitor - 1440p 144hz 27' IPS

As the title says, I can't decide what monitor to buy. Looking for a 1440p 144hz 27 inch IPS monitor, and I am stuck between the LG 27gl850 and Asus pg279q. The 27gl850 isn't availiable in my country until the end of november, that's a bit long to wait. The pg279q does look real nice, although I am unsure of buying a gsync monitor (currently going to use nvidia card) since it will effectively lock me to buying nvidia cards in the future. Agh, 1st world problems. My budget is around 600 us$.
Any thoughts and alterntives to the two monitors?

I can tell you 600 dollars is way to high. Grab this MSI 27" 1440p 144hz

HI, I'm on the hunt for a gaming monitor as well, and I was wondering about the differences between freesync vs freesync 2, so far, freesync 2 offers things like hdr10+ and other things, but thats just technical stuff that I dont have a way to compare between the 2. my questions being, is it worth it to go with the premium alternative freesync 2 ? how do the compare in real life ?, and if its worth it, what model can you recommend ?
