Yea I fixed it, it was the issue.

Hi,  I put together a PC for editing 2 days ago and it boot loops when ram profile is set to DOCP.

Specs :

 -Amd Ryzen 2700x

-Asus Rog Strix B450-F Gaming

-Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x  8GB) DDR4-3200 PC4-25600 CL16 Dual  Channel Desktop Memory Kit  CMW16GX4M2E3200C16

I bought these to replace my old rig (fx 9590), same hdd,gpu and psu (evga 750 gold certified).

The Corsair ram says XMP certified but not Ryzen compatable.  I turned on DOCP and left everything auto, the pc boot loops after the settings is saved. After few boot faliures it automatically resets to the original settings.  I hope someone got a solution and I'm ready to swap the ram to something else if nothing works.  I tried updating the bios but it didn't worked for me.

Sounds like your DOCP profile isn't liking something, but those are very normal speeds for Zen+ to run.

How about entering the settings manually? DOCP tends to do weird things with voltages.

Brands I wholeheartedly reccomend (though do have flawed products): Apple, Razer, Corsair, Asus, Gigabyte, bequiet!, Noctua, Fractal, GSkill (RAM only)

docp is funky with ryzen. I would try running with all normal docp settings except slightly increasing ram voltage. docp usually set voltage to 1.35v. I would try 1.375 or maybe even 1.4v. once you find something stable, work your way down until the system is unstable or boot loops. that way you know the lowest voltage you can run

How about BIOS update, some BIOS are very picky with RAM settings and other not so much. Try setting the overclock and timings manually

Main System: Ryzen 2700, Asus Crosshair VII Hero, EVGA GTX 1080ti SC, 970 EVO Plus NVMe, Crucial Ballistix 3200mhz CL14, CM H500, CM ML240L cpu cooler.

Second System: Ryzen 2400G, Gigabyte B450 DS3H, RX 580 Nitro+, Kingston A400 SSD, Team T-Force 3200mhz CL15

If it ain't overclocked it ain't good...

I never tried overclocking in general, is there any video or forums talking about this specific topic?

Can you suggest me some DOCP settings for this specific ram?  Only the voltage?

Ps. I never tried overclocking

set CPU VSOC to 1.1

VDDRAM or VDDR to 1.35

Set memory clockspeed to 3000mhz first if it post set it to 3200mhz then

leave timings to auto for now.

Save and exit

i'd suggest just turning on DOCP and increasing the ram voltage. That's often enough to stabilize ryzen memory, but if it doesn't work, we can manually OC the memory. That just takes a lot longer to tune in
