Hi there all so back in 2015/16 time I done my first PC builds and for the past 4 years it's been working great I can't complain but all of a sudden I've been getting extreme spikes in my CPU temps hitting maxing out at 100C across all cores on a i7 6700k (stock clock) I've now replaced the thermal paste twice within the last 6 months first with Grizzly Sub Zero now I'm using the latest thermal paste from Artic MX4 2019 edition, as I am writing this my CPU is hitting 70+ degree C, when I'm only running two monitors with three browser windows open, Steam, VoiceMeter and corsiar link. I'm pretty sure that the cooler is just dead now but I can't help but think that it might have something to do with the Motherboard considering that there is large fluctuation and spikes on some cores it'll be sitting at 53C when the 4th core is hitting 80C so maybe a voltage issue. I was wondering if someone would be able to help me with this issue.

Many Thanks

Does corsair link still show the pump rpm (assuming you have the usb plugged in). Can you feel the pump working when you touch the block or the tubes beside it? If not, pump is dead I suppose. Best to also make sure that the h115i is still receiving power, make sure everything is plugged in.

Would you happen to have an air cooler available? See if it shows you the same inconsistencies.

It looks like the pump is shot, I just took the side panel off and there is abosolutely nothing going through the tubes and the block and beside the block is completely still nothing, I was 95% sure it was the cooler because for years when I bought it when I hit the on button you could audibly hear the water flowing through the tubes and only these past 6 months it hasn't been the case. Thank you so much for your suggestion much appricated I'm going to see if it's still under warrenty.

And another thing besides that, I've tried everything I've opened up my windows at times when it was 10C outside, I've ramped up the preset settings of the cooler to "Performance mode" and the temps didn't change if anything they got worse. I would just like to thank you all for responding so quickly, I've got another cooler on it's way.

Much Love
