2.5” SSD/HDD internal cage, not 3.5” to 2.5” to add into rack mount case

Hi everyone,

 

In the process of rebuilding my file server into a cleaner setup with hot swap bays. Thinking of using the Rosewill RSV-L4412 as it have 12 hot swap bay accessible and it priced to not break the bank.

 

The only thing the case is kissing is a decent place to mount SSD, there is always the central top rail but kinda of an hack job.

 

I will be using a dual Hex Core Xeon on a bit older intel S5520HC with 2 HBA SAS cards so I technically have 16 ports available. 12 hot swap 3.5” disks and 4 available ports as I will be using the server to run a few VMs as well but want to run them off SSDs disk.

 

What I am basically looking for is a SSD/HDD cage (2-4-6 whatever the size) that is not a 3.5” to 2.5” adapter. Been looking on different parts site and the best I could find yet was a 3.5 -> dual 2.5” bracket but that’s really not I’m looking for.

 

Any of you guys/gals came across such a case somewhere ?

Best I can find are some Coolermaster and Corsair 2.5" cages that are technically designed for other cases, so they wont "mount" anywhere in the rack server exactly...

Thanks TVwazhere, both cages look good indeed, obviously mounting will be custom for the Rosewill case but I thing the Corsair will work in that situation. Very good find thanks a bunch
