PC doesn't turn off after Windows shutdown...

No sure if this is the correct place for this issue, but here we go.

 

I have an issue with my newly built PC, when i shut down Windows 10, PC does not power off, the monitor looses connection to the PC as i should, but the PC does not power off.

 

When i boot into safe mode and shuts down Windows, the PC freezes on the "Shutting down Widows screen".

 

What i've tried so far:

• Installing latest chipset drivers from AMD
• Updated BIOS
• Tried different power cable
• Disabled Fast Startup
• Runing Windows update
• Changeing power plan
• Used shutdown /s /f /t 0
   

So far nothing worked, any ideas?

This is my build and Windows version:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600

Asrock B450 Gaming-ITX

Noctua NH-L9a-AM4

Sharkoon Zone C10 chasis

Kingston HyperX Fury Black DDR4 2666MHz 2x8GB

make sure that your power button is set up correctly to go into shutdown mode. Have you unplugged the motherboard and reset the settings ?

I'm shutting down the PC by selecting Windows -> On/OFF -> Turn off PC, but i also just checked the power settings, and yes, the power button is set to turn of the PC.

 

I've tried to clear CMOS, that didn't work either

was this a fresh windows install, or clone from another drive?

Made sure i was on the latest BIOS 3.50

sorry for posting on such an old thread but I'm having the same issue, may I ask how you fixed this problem, or if you fixed it at all?
