Hi everyone, as the title says I would like to clone my hard drive to a replacement as I believe it's dying.
On Friday my 4tb SSHD started to make odd noises which from the sound I guess was the motor. I was currently doing 3D work on it fine when it was making noises but I went to load other files such as pictures and they refused to load. After that I backed up my 3D work and then turned off my PC, I've not been on it since so I don't damage the drive.
Tomorrow I should be getting x2 4TB HDDs, so what's my best way of cloning the dying drive?
From what I know, I can try and copy everything in windows or make an image via linux and restore from that using the two new drives.
10+ years of images and old backups are on this drive so any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Honestly, I don't know the best way, but what I would do is live boot linux and connect the dying drive and one of the new drives (just to get the data off, then move it around later). Then just copy all of the files off of the old drive and on to the new one. Make sure to crush your old drive before disposing.
