Dell R720 E5 2650L v2 Unraid Setup. Swapping out H710 mini for H310 Mini

Hi, I recently picked up a used R720 off eBay to use as a home server. After some research I foound that I'd need an IT mode flashed H310 to pass the drives through to unraid.

I've just installed the H310 mini (IT mode firmware installed) in the same slot as the H710 mini that came installed. When I boot the machine it's recognising the new card but will only boot in to Life Cycle Controller.

Has anyone else had something similar and found a fix?

I don't think you can flash the H310 mini to IT mode, only the normal H310. Could be wrong, though.

Read the documentation or do a search for your R720 if I remember correctly you cannot use the proprietary slot that your raid card was in at least that is what I found on my R710 I put my LSI card into another slot and it works fine
