Hello all, first time post, apologies in advance.

Problem:

About a month ago I started experiencing my Firefox browser tabs crashing (see screenshot) when watching Twitch livestreams or Youtube videos. After a while the crashes became more frequent, about once every 5 minutes, and increasingly frustrating. Chrome also crashes and instead of crashing just the one "problem" tab, the whole application crashes and I have to task manager force close it. Some websites (including this one) also crash my tab sometimes. Discord also seems to have strange graphical bugs such as black lines across the window and flashing sections (which seem to flash in sync with the text cursor???).

Note: All of the games I play (Overwatch, CS:GO, Call of Duty, World Of Warcraft Classic, etc) run perfectly without glitches.

Attempted solutions:

Here's some things I have tried doing so far (all of which have not solved the problem or helped in any way):

- Disabling add-ons/extensions in my Firefox and Google Chrome

- Uninstalling and reinstalling browsers

- Disabling hardware acceleration for browsers

- A bunch of other stuff that a quick Google search might tell you to do if your browser is crashing
- Updating drivers for GPU

- Installing old/outdated drivers for GPU

- Reinstalling display adapter in Windows

- Flashing motherboard BIOS to latest version: 7B45vA9 from https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z370-GAMING-PRO-CARBON

- Clearing CMOS on motherboard (removed the motherboard battery for 1 minute while computer unplugged)

- Re-seating GPU

- Using the CPU's Intel integrated graphics

- Fresh installing windows (completely wiped all 3 drives and reinstalled via USB)

- Updating Windows

- Updating drivers that Driver Talent utility suggested

- Using only one monitor

- Run anti-virus

Conclusion: I have tried literally everything I can think of doing to diagnose/fix the problem and I am out of ideas. What do I do? I am happy to provide any helpful information or screenshots necessary to solve this issue.

Thank you.

Hello OP

Maybe it's time to check your hardware for errors

Check your RAM with the windows tool

Check your ssd/hdd with Easeus partition master (i don't recommend windows scandisk)

Check your system temperatures with aida64
Check your refresh rate settings/screen resolution
Try to dissconnect old hardware from your computer and see if the problem is gone

This is all i can think of for now
