Hello there! A friend of mine is planning to build a PC with a budget of 1000€. I'm on here to represent him because he doesn't speak englisch very well. Anyways, we both have little idea of how to put together a proper rig, so I'm asking for tips on what parts to choose. A few important things: We - obviously - live in Europe, and he's already got a case and a disc to install windows (but no windows license), and assets like a mouse, keyboard and monitor. Assembly itself is also covered, so the 1000€ are exclusively for the parts themselves. The rig should be able to:

  • Play rather processor-heavy (or at least so I think) games, like Arma 3, Post Scriptum etc. on good graphics
  • Be future proof for something like a year

It doesn't have to be good at rendering tasks or such. Thanking you in advance for your answers!

Greetings from Germany!

Thanks an awful lot, that's perfect!! :D

He's been gaming on a 2009 Laptop for a few years, this will surely blow him away!

Have a nice day!
