So I got this fan hub from silver stone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07N3HP8S5?pf_rd_p=183f5289-9dc0-416f-942e-e8f213ef368b&pf_rd_r=ZJYKTB0Y6E9GHC186YV6

And plugged these fans into it: https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-F12-PWM-PST-Technology/dp/B07HC782D5/ref=sr_1_2?crid=GP7SERHGN0QL&keywords=artic%2B5%2Bpack&qid=1569013812&s=electronics&sprefix=arctic%2B5%2Bpac%2Celectronics%2C403&sr=1-2&th=1

And I have this MOBO: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350M-HDV/index.asp

The fans are not working at all. hey are not turning on. I have another 3 pin fan (can't find the link) from cooler master and it runs just fine. I also unplugged the hub from chassis 1  and into CPU, and the 3 pin and CPU cooler ran just fine. I looked in the mobo instructions and saw no disclaimer about the 4 pin being a fake 3 pin. It has one 4 pin and one 3 pin(and CPU 4 pin). I checked drivers and bios and the bios says that the fan sped for that port is N/A. What could be going on? Thanks.

The only other thing I can think of is the sense port not being populated.

The bottom left port in this image needs to be populated for the motherboard to get the speed, is that port populated?

No, but it was when I put the CPU cooler in.Ill try it again with a normal 4 pin fan.
