Hi guys, how are you?

I wanted to ask about my PC which I made myself using a thin layer of wood. This case has no GPU mount unlike the normal cases, because I have difficulties on making it myself with only minor tools.

One thing that bugging me is that because lacking of GPU mount, I have to put two small wooden stick from the base layer of the case to the edge of the GPU (around the edge of the fans) to hold the GPU so it can be on a horizontal position.

The real question is, will my system be okay with this? And importantly, will the GPU itself suffer from that kind of position with just two wooden stick holding it up?

To those who knows, please respond back to me.

Thanks very much.

@Robby, Indonesia.

Ps: I will take a picture of my PC when I get back home for a better looking.

As long there's non stress on the pcie slot id say it is fine

Just take a look how linus handles and mounts gpus (e.g. 6 workstations project), they are not that fragile

Oh right.. the pcie slot is the most important.. and GPU is just as rigid and tough component.. just remembered that. Okay, I got a bit of a relief then. Thanks very much for the reply man. ??
