I have a nvidia Geforce 210 and I'm using a VGA monitor and works fine, When I tried to use a HDMI monitor it works fine but my second monitor is also VGA and with the adapter wont work, I'm not sure if it is a windows 10 driver problem or from nvidia, but the driver is updated. The adapter works fine,  have a Anologic to DTV converter and works fine even with 1080p

Most likely just doesn't support HDMI to VGA, that's only a thing on newer GPUs or laptops I think.

But you have a DVI-i port, so just get an adapter for that? It's going to be supported better as well since it's actually analog.

My hdmi to VGA adapter doesn't let me just use 1600x1200 at 75hz with my CRTs, would have to make a custom resolution for it.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Wish I still had room for my CRTs in my room. Still the best monitors around.

Looks like you're using more than one monitor at a time. Make sure your adapter is "active" otherwise you can only use one at a time.

All of those adapters are active adapters pretty much.

All adapters are passive unless specified in its description when buying it. I tried looking up the adapter shown in the picture, but can't find anything.
