890W vs 550W vacuum cleaners same price which one i buy?

Which one should I go for?

 

will 890W one be way louder? Im interested in the 890W one because it comes with an HEPA filter, however if the 550W is quieter I may buy that and just buy the HEPA filter

I dont have pets and its just to clean hard floor, no carpets so i dont need insane power

 

I hate my loud ass, old ass phillips vacuum cleaner from the 70s , sounds like a 747 landing on my room and that makes me become lazy and not clean often

both are from Miele. what could go wrong? ive heard they are the best vacuum cleaners on the planet

I got a 2000W vacuum and its barely enough, I am not sure how 900W is sufficient. If sound is your primary concern, why not just get a dyson?

Over here by law vacuums are no longer allowed to use more than 900 W actually.

 

From what I can find locally the Ecoline one has a bit better efficiency rating for (hard) floors, but that's all I can find. Either one will probably be fine if Miele still lives up to their name. I guess the question is do you need a HEPA filter.

These days, especially in Europe, lower power are actually better models because they have lower power consumption. To compensate raw wattage they perfected the turbines and many ~500W vacuum cleaners are so powerful they are lifting carpets. Something not even 2500W vacuum cleaners weren't doing before. From performance perspective, on hard floor, it doesn't even matter anymore. They are all so powerful from most basic ones to most expensive ones. Only carpets are where things still matter. But you don't have them anyway. It is weird though that Miele, at prices they are selling shit, they still use micro filters instead of HEPA. Most really crappy cheap vacuum cleaners from other brands have HEPA.

Honestly it's appalling how much power they use. But nah, might as well use a 1.4kW power whore with a primitive design because we gotta make that dolla dolla yo, who needs innovation.
