Put Linux on old Android phone (specially Retropie)

Hi guys,

rightnow i have some old phones, and i've they have similar hardware with Raspberry, specially the processors based on Cortex A53 or A57. Is there the possibility to delete Android System and punt some distros (specially Retropie, i love videogames lol)? Or is just my fantasy? Thank you very much whoever answer me (sorry for my bad english).

that would be extremly difiicult and not worth your time. just buy a raspberi pi (its only like $50 with the whole kit.)

Because the android version is obsolete, such as Galaxy S5 with his awful touchwiz. I wanted only to know if it was possible. To use old devices.

get a custom rom, you can run 9.0 pie on it, look on XDA.
